    When a stock is bought more than a limited limit, then the upper circuit is applied in that share. Meaning, all the buyers are present in that share. If there is good news in a stock or if there is a big update, then the price of that share starts increasing quickly. Due to which an upper circuit is created.

        Upper circuit means that all the buyers are involved in that stock and no sell is taking place. Because of which the circuit is triggered and trading is stopped in that stock for some time. After the circuit is opened, normal trading starts again.

    What is Lower Circuit in Stock Market :

    As you understood above, its opposite meaning is that of lower circuit. That means, when there is some bad news in a stock or there is a bad update, then there is more selling than buying in that stock.

        The meaning of Lower Circuit is that there are more sellers than buyers in that stock. Due to which there is a huge fall in that stock. When all the sellers are present in a stock, then there is a lower circuit in it.

    You know what a circuit breaker is and how it works. But it is also important to know that what happens when a circuit is engaged in a stock. When there is a sudden fall in a stock or there is a big spike, then it remains worrying for the investors.     If there is a lower circuit in any stock, then selling is stopped for some time in that stock. Because there are only sellers in that stock, due to which there is a rapid decline in the stock or a big spike is seen.

    When a stock hits the lower circuit, the selling in that stock is stopped so that there is no further selling in that stock and the price of that stock does not suddenly drop much.
